Ave Maria University An initial investment of over $200 million to create Phase I of the University project includes the initial infrastructure, 16 buildings, and sports facilities. Ultimately the University will offer not only a full curriculum of traditional liberal arts, sciences and engineering programs, but also a comprehensive graduate program offering masters and doctoral degrees to an estimated 5,000 students.
As the information architect, we was responsible for the local and state trailblazing recommendations, landmark identification, street naming and building numbering. We assisted in the development of the signage and graphics master plan for the entire campus and town.
In an effort to standardize the building numbers to facilitate a logical addressing system for the university and city postal facility and establish an acceptable response standard by security and emergency personnel, we developed a series of potential master solutions.
